Haven't updated in a while. Just some random pics from the last couple of months.

Altoona

Some pics from my last trip to Altoona, IA. It's starting to look like a Bass Pro store.

Crops

Got some nice crops starting to come in. I think the cool weather has slowed them down a little, but no complaints on that. The big red tomato is a Goliath. The smaller red ones are Roma and the ones that are still green are Beefsteak. Those guys get huge, but they need time to do it. I've also got some peppers just about ready. No squash yet but lots of flowers so hopefully we'll get some fruit of them.

We officially adopted Sydney on Saturday. This is a great pic of her.

It was a good day....

Spent the day in the back yard with the dogs. Got some buds on the tomatoes and some new plants for the herb garden.

Garden Phase III

Got some topsoil in and finished mulching both beds. Should be planting this weekend!

Powerball Winners

Roscoe and Brucie in their new homes in Florida. Not bad for a couple of alley cats.

Garden Phase II

Folding in some compost and green weeds into my planting spots. Hopefully I can get some topsoil soon and start planting.

Garden

Thanks to Shell's dad, Charlie, I've got a great start to my layer garden. Piles of old moldy leaves!

Cassie

Cassie is our new foster dog. She's very sweet but has a lot to learn before she can get 'dopted.

Hot Water!

Got the tankless system going with a little help from my friends. Works great. Nice to have hot water again after three weeks.

Gracie got adopted by a very nice family out of Arkansas. She responded really well to them and it looks like it was a win for her and her new owners. Good luck, Gracie!!!

Tracker Demo

This is a new thing we're going to be pushing out to our stores so that you can "test drive" a Tracker boat. Still a work in progress but the seat rumbles, the wind blows in your face, and eventually you'll be able to drive the boat around a virtual lake.

Shelter Dogs

Shelley and I have started spending our Saturdays helping out a rescue group that saves dogs from shelters and then adopts them out at PetSmart. Even on a cold, rainy day lots of people come through. It's a lot of fun!

Gone Tankless

We're going to try out a tankless gas water heater. See how it goes. Should be fun mounting this guy on the wall.
